The grand finale of the annual tango festival, “Viva el Tango” stars Latin Grammy winners, Octavio Brunetti (piano) and Raúl Jaurena (bandoneon), Pedro Giraudo (bass), Diana LeGrand (violin), and PASO's string orchestra in an evening of symphonic tangos. The show is complimented by three pairs of energetic dancers, Diego di Falco and Carolina Zokalski of Broadway's Forever Tango, Carolina Jaurena and Diego Blanco, and Anton Gazenbeck and Anatina Luck.

GALita, a program of GALA Hispanic Theatre, presents the film Manuelita at its 3rd Children’s Film Festival at the GALA Theatre. The film is based on María Elena Walsh’s children’s song which was released again in 2005 in Argentina. The festival also presents classic and popular Argentine, Mexican, Peruvian, Ecuadorian and Spanish children’s films. All films are in Spanish with English subtitles.

Waiting for the Hearse, an Argentine comedy cult film by Alejandro Doria, belongs to the criollo grotesque genre, and it is inspired on the play of the same name by Jacobo Langsner. The film counts with great actors like Antonio Gasalla, China Zorrilla, Luis Brandoni and Betiana Blum among others. Mamá Cora's destiny is debated by the family while lunch is burnt. None of her four children wants to take responsibility for the old lady.
